Why an internship?
At St Barnabas we believe that it is paramount to be in investing in young people who will lead others, witness in their workplaces, and be lifelong disciples of Jesus. The internship is designed to give a year to developing discipleship and leadership skills in young people whilst they invest in different areas of the church.
What do we need?
The internship is full time and the church family are providing housing for the interns. We are however, looking to raise £3000 to cover some of the costs of living the interns have, as well as a mission trip to Uganda.
How can I support?
Pray for us – we appreciate covering in prayer as we seek the Lord this year and in the years to come.
Financial Support – over the last few months the Interns have been fundraising through various events, including running a 10k and bake sales. If you would like to participate in these events, we have still to come:
- ‘An Evening with the Interns’ – Three course Meal 6th May (more info to follow)
How do I donate?
If you would like to support this great opportunity you can do so in a number of ways:
- Either cash or cheque in a giving envelope available at church, please write on the envelope it is for interns.
- Online through our giving page
- by texting ‘STBS17’ followed by an amount (i.e. ‘STBS17 £5’) to 70070
