At St Barnabas we recognise that as Christians we have a responsibility to care for the whole of God’s creation. This includes the rich diversity of the natural world as well as those people in developing countries who are particularly seriously affected by, for example, drought and flooding caused by global warming. We are committed to encouraging sustainable lifestyles among the church family and to ensuring that we do all we can to Reduce - Reuse - Recycle, as individual church members and as a worshipping community. We have a small environment group that meets from time to time to develop our environmental awareness, and we are in the process of drawing up a church environmental policy and ethical trading guidelines for church events.
