Encounter
We love spending extended times in God's presence through worship and prayer because we know that in the midst of a busy life when we set everything else aside to worship we begin to encounter God and he leads us by his love.
Transform
We value accountability and vulnerability when we do discipleship, because we know this leads to change in our lives. We want to continually transform into people of integrity, compassion, and joy just like Jesus.
Share
When we know something is really good we can't hold back telling people about it! We believe that with the Holy Spirit's help we can share what it means to be Jesus followers through our loving words and actions to those around us. It's naturally supernatural.
events
Sundays
On Sunday mornings during our 10:15am gathering, everyone from 11-17 years old heads up to the Upper Hall. Our goal is to spend time getting to know the Bible and each other more and more each week. This will usually look like sharing doughnuts and chatting about our lives. We continue by looking at a passage from the Bible is small discussion groups. We then like to finish with a rowdy game.
midweek
DEEPER
Deeper is a small group for any youth who are wanting to dig deeper into the Bible, prayer, and community. Olly and Ellie Latham will be leading the group from their home in Milton on Tuesdays at 7pm. If you are interested in joining them for dinner and Bible study or if you need to arrange a lift please contact youth@stbs.org so we can send you more information.
Mentoring
For anyone in year 10 and above, we offer mentoring. This is an opportunity to meet one-to-one with another member of the church, to be encouraged and challenged as you grow in your faith.
Friday nights
Do you like hanging out with games and food? We've got video games, board games, card games, organized groups games, we now have a ping-pong table! Whether you attend St Barnabas Church or not, anyone between the ages of 11-17 is welcome to join for as much or as little as they want. This time is for investing in friendships and the local community rather than Bible study. Come and join us from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the St Barnabas Centre!

Throughout the year we have regular youth socials. These are a chance to get to know each other better and a great opportunity to invite friends! Have a look at our events to see whats coming up.
Youth afterparty
About once a term our B.Kids Ministry hosts big events like 'The Night of Light' or 'Pancake Party'. Youth that volunteer at these events get rewarded with an after party. This year we'll be hosting Nerf Wars after these events, so sign up and get a chance to show what you can do. If you have your own Nerf collection feel free to bring it in and if you don't we can provide some.
