CLUSTERS

Cluster handsWhat are they?
Clusters are an excellent way into the church if you are new to St Barnabas. It is a smaller and more informal gathering than a Sunday service and therefore easier to make friends and feel at home. If you go along to a cluster you will find about 25-35 people who eat together, spend time getting to know one-another and who are sharing their lives and walk with God together. Evangelism will be at the heart of the cluster identity by welcoming new people into the group and also supporting our own personal evangelism in the other communities that we are a part of. Clusters will also enable us to use/develop our God given gifts, to support the church's mission to look 'outwards' and to encourage and engage across the ages and bringing together those who are with us long and short term. Clusters are one way that the vision - for all ages teaching and supporting one another in living the Christian life - will be developed - relational integrated discipleship.

When and where are they?
Clusters are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with one cluster also meeting on Saturday mornings. Each of the 9 clusters starts around 7.30pm, but everyone is slightly different! Some take place in St Barnabas and some are around Cambridge. Some are in people's houses and some are either in the church building or other halls. Each cluster will be different as they do not follow a set programme. Find out more by picking up a cluster leaflet at the welcome desk with all the start times on and different locations, or sign up on the cluster board in the square for the cluster you are interested in and one of the leaders will contact you. Otherwise please contact the office for more information.

Who and how can be involved?
Clusters are for everyone. If you are attending St.Barnabas Church on a Sunday you are welcome to attend a cluster! All you have to do is find a cluster you would like to go to and go along or if you would like to be contacted by one of the leaders first, sign up on the cluster board in the square. If you don't hear from anyone you are welcome to turn up to a cluster around 7.30pm for food!
