So many kids near to St Barnabas and across Cambridge don’t yet know that Jesus loves them and is relevant to their lives. We want to play our part inspiring this generation of kids; sharing who Jesus is, and the difference He makes in day-to-day life.

BARNABAS BEARS

Wednesdays 10-11.30am - Term Time

Barnabas Bears is our hugely popular baby and toddler group for 0-4 year olds. We meet in the Church (access via the carpark on St Barnabas Road) on Wednesday mornings from 10-11.30am during term time. We have lots of fun during play, there are refreshments available and lots of opportunities to make new friends. Towards the end we have a circle time including a Bible Story and singing.

We are back on 17th April 2024!

Location: St Barnabas Church (access via the church carpark on St Barnabas Road)

B.KidS

Sundays at the 10.15am Morning Gathering (TERM TIME)

Vision of B.Kids

We want to see the children at B.Kids grow as disciples of the risen Jesus, encounter the Holy Spirit and live lives free in the knowledge of God’s love for them. Our prayer is that as they do this they would be empowered to share the Good News of Jesus with many of their friends.

B.Kids Groups

Those in Pre- school up to Years 6 gather together each week for some worship, challenges, games, prayer and some teaching from Bible. In age groups we explore the Bible together through various crafts, visual illustrations, drama, drawing and much more.

Kids Matter

Kids Matter Parenting Programmes seek to build strong families among those facing disadvantage, by helping parents and carers grow in confidence and competence, and building community among those who take part.  Families can be referred by any agency or community partner.  Sessions are run in small groups by trained facilitators from the church, using accessible and evidence-informed materials.  Learn more about Kids Matter at www.kidsmatter.org.uk.

Currently, St Barnabas’ Kids Matter comprises of seven informal group sessions of 6-8 people where friendships and connections are made which frequently carry on when the course is finished. Cake is provided for all sessions and child care is available throughout.
