JIMMY'S NIGHTSHELTER
What is it?
A cross-church initiative based at Zion Baptist Church, East Road
to provide emergency accommodation for homeless people in Cambridge
and also to help with longer-term accommodation. In all these things
the aim is to share the Christian gospel in "Word and Deed".
Where is it?
Jimmy's is located beneath Zion Baptist church on East road.
How to get involved:
Anyone over 18 can volunteer. You can help with washing up, befriending,
ironing, serving food, and making beds for a few hours once a fortnight.
