At St Barnabas, we want to root everything we do in prayer.

As well as encouraging one another in our personal patterns of prayer, we also give specific space in the life of the church to come together to pray in different contexts.

We encourage everyone to join one of our Barnabas Communities and become part of a family of people living for Jesus together, regularly praying for each other and those around us.

Morning Prayer

Every weekday morning | 9am | Upper Hall

Each morning our staff team gather to pray together. We begin with worship and then have a different focus for our prayers each day. You would be so welcome to join us!

DAY OF PRAYER

First Wednesday of every month

Each month we want to commit a day to praying for the life of our church and it’s mission, the world around and the city of Cambridge. Each month we’ll be doing different things to connect in throughout the day and there will be other resources shared on our social media pages to help you engage wherever you are.

PRAYER ROOM

At St Barnabas Church we are blessed to have a prayer room that can be used throughout the day as a space to come and meet with God. Prayer is vital to everything we do at St Barnabas and we would love to see this space used regularly by as many people as possible. In the rooms there’s a few chairs, a speaker, some prayer activities and things to help us be creative as we pray. This is open to all members of St Barnabas Church.
